This Throw utilizes around five layers of cotton sari cloth hand-stitched over many days to create a blanket.

While you may find checked designs on many vintage Kantha quilts, it is rare to find one in such good condition. So lovely is this cloth that we say it is the quilt's hero side, making the patterned side our second choice.

All this recreating makes for a highly textural boho quilt.

Evidence of the hand stitching is everywhere, and that's what makes this particular piece so unique.
