Bower Bird Blue is inspired by Australia's beautiful 'blue object collecting' Satin Bower Bird.

It is a machine and hand-stitched needle case with slow stitching, a hand-beaten copper embellishment, and a lovely frayed patchwork art panel on the cover.
Bower Bird Blue comes equipped with some goodies: 2 x scissors, 2 x needle threaders, 1 x needle, 2 x pins, 1 x removable scrap fabric, 1 x quick unpicker, 3 x vintage buttons, and a length of thread (already threaded for you).
Inside, the front and back feature big pockets for storing the inclusions, while a small pocket in the middle holds the thread, needle and threader.
Made from Felt, cotton, and copper, with vintage buttons.
My creations feature new, used, repurposed, and vintage fabrics. Everything is designed to be imperfectly perfect, a little bit curious, and a lot of fun.
